InkPoster digital art display featuring spiral staircase photography in a modern interior

The Largest Color E-Paper Art Poster Makes Its European Debut

In January this year, InkPoster will unveil at Maison&Objet in Paris the world’s largest color E-Paper art poster ever created with Tela 40.5”, introducing a new category in interior design. Measuring over one meter wide, the new InkPoster Tela 40.5” combines art, design, and technology in a single unobtrusive object created for modern living spaces.

The new Tela 40.5” will be presented alongside another new model — the InkPoster Duna 40.5”, featuring the same exceptional A1-format display developed in collaboration with the legendary Italian design house Pininfarina. Inspired by Pininfarina’s automotive heritage, with its sculptural frame, refined materials, and monumental A1-format screen, Duna became one of the most talked-about design presentations at the world’s leading technology exhibition.

Discover both new A1-size InkPoster displays at Maison&Objet from January 15–19 and experience the world’s largest color E-Paper art poster in person:

  • InkPoster: Hall 4, Stand F110 / G109, Decor & Design sector.
  • IONNYK: Hall 4, Stand E112, Decor & Design sector.

Spectacular A1 Digital Display with the Character of Paper

Tela 40.5” is the largest color E-Paper art poster ever created, presented in an impressive A1 format designed for true visual impact. Its generous size is complemented by a refined gallery-style presentation, complete with a passe-partout that keeps the focus on the artwork rather than the device. The paper-like surface delivers the softness and depth of a real print — much like vinyl preserves the warmth of analog sound. Unlike televisions or LCD-based digital frames that constantly emit light, Tela 40.5” remains calm and unobtrusive. Millions of microscopic color capsules inside the display create the image and remain in place even without power, allowing the artwork to stay visible for up to one year on a single charge.

No Cables — No Design Compromises

Tela 40.5” is completely wireless, allowing it to be placed exactly where art belongs — without outlets, cables, or design compromises. Hung like a real artwork, it feels more like part of the interior than another electronic device. This freedom is made possible by E-Paper technology, which consumes energy only when the image changes. Even when powered off, the artwork remains fully visible in power-off mode. The result is a refined design object ideal for premium homes, offices, hotels, restaurants, and curated public spaces.

Digital Art Without Visual Noise

Tela 40.5” emits no light, does not flicker, generates no heat, and operates silently, creating an experience closer to printed art than to a digital device. Unlike LCD-based art TVs or digital picture frames, it does not illuminate the room or draw attention to itself. There is no blue light and no glare, allowing the artwork to remain soft and natural under real ambient lighting. The device quietly disappears into the space, leaving only the image. This thoughtful approach makes it ideal for interiors where calmness, focus, and visual comfort are valued.

One Tap — A New Atmosphere

Tela 40.5” combines the emotional presence of paper art with the flexibility of a digital display — changing the atmosphere of a room requires only a single tap. The InkPoster app provides access to thousands of curated works, from classical masterpieces and vintage posters to contemporary art. Personal images and meaningful moments can be displayed just as easily. Users can manage multiple displays simultaneously, even remotely. This makes Tela 40.5” a powerful yet effortless tool for shaping the mood and identity of interiors.
